All-Clad’s ‘Essentials’ product range is designed specifically for cooking enthusiasts with limited kitchen storage. To address this challenge, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the lifestyles of potential All-Clad customers, visiting the homes and apartments of city dwellers to gain insights into their cooking needs. This research allowed us to define what their ideal cookware collection would look like, ensuring that it meets both functional and aesthetic requirements.
Based on our research, we identified 10 essential items that can tackle a wide variety of recipes. Next, we embraced the challenge of carefully designing these 10 items so they could be stored as compactly as possibly without compromising their cooking performance. Through several rounds of prototypes and design iterations, we developed a consistent design language that unifies the whole product range and maintains All Clad’s brand identity. The final product is a clever solution that allows you to cook, serve, clean and store with ease.
